Sorry no idea abt commerce paper but I think unless commerce paper is too easy, there are good chances.
112 in GS is too good man, and also with 140 in history, I must say go for mains prepn.
No separate cutoff for GS Himanshu dear but there is no scaling in that.
110 GS and 120 in botany are good enough.

@ ALL : These are all my personal assumptions and based on my tryst with RPSC from the last 10 years, I appeared in all the interviews of RAS from 1999 onwards. Take it or leave it but plz don't blame me, I am after all human and liable to be erred but its without any malafide intention. Keep on commenting. Cheers.

@ Kapil : Kudos for your analysis, totally agree with you.

@ 104 gs and 135 in pub admn : no one can stop with this score to write mains.

@ 122 in GS too good score, 130 in botany also seems you sail perfectly :)

@ 86 in GS and 160 in Psycho, only Psycho can save you dear.

@ 116 GS and 124 in Geo : good score dear, definitely in no border line.

@ 118 GS and 124 Pub ADmn : Too good man.

@ gk+pol sci 80+140 : only positive scaling in pol sc help u out.

@ 170 in computer science and 111 in gs : looks comfortable

ppl predict there marks must reduce at lest 15% bcoz its game of rpsc nd fate. if u score 200+ then must say safe. if u clear pt then try for mains if not then gain experince nd try 4 next chance. dnt wast own time in asking foolish kind question. u must ask problm regarding rajasthan gs n hindi , english. paper bcoz these r selector in final {200+100+100=400 inma jyadatar candidate 90+ in hindi . 25/30 in english n 50 in rajasthan gk main raha jata hai} @ kapil b.

@ Rubal : Other state girl comes in Gen/Gen We; with 110 GS and 150 in Socio, you have good chance to qualify

AS PER RPSC RULES 1999, FOR RAS/RTS EXAM IT ALLOWED CANDIDATES AROUND 15 TIMES OF SEATS FOR RAS MAIN . SO THIS YEAR AROUND 11000 CANDIDATES ALLOWED TO WRITE RAS (MAIN)
DO NOT MUCH BOTHER ABOUT PRELIM RESULT IT MAY BE AROUND 200 FOR GENERAL CATOGERY COZ IN 2007 CUT OFF FOR GEN. CAT.194 AND THERE WAS 713 SEATS BUT THIS TIME 772 SEATS BUT G.S PAPER WAS NOT SO DIFFICULT SO IT MUST BE AROUND 200 FOR GEN CAT....

Everyobody is worried about their result in Prelims, but one thing i want to say that though prelims is must for going to next stage, let us now start focusing on Mains examination , we use this forum to discuss the pattern , questions aksed in mains etc. in market mains papers are avilable till 1999, so those who have taken mains exam share their experience and specifically questions asked in mains , this will help a lot to every body , nareh ji thanx a lot for providing this forum, Great work keeo it up..

there are lot of changes proposed in RAS exam from next time, with subject knowledge not to be tested.the reality is if we see pattern of toppers, just being masters of a subject and good scaling, they become toppers.
With all subjects being common, this would be the best and most objective way of testing calibre rather than rote learn subjects and vomit them in paper, then waiting for scaling miracle to happen.

jyada jajrook hota (accordind 2 u)to sabhi is 120 ko cross karta n 170 -180 wla to kai sara milta, jyadatar logo ka gs 80-100 hai or result ana per isma bhe kum ho jayanga. rahi baat optional ki to usma 60% ana per bhe around 200 rahaga. koi sa subject ha jisma jyada score jata hai unma scalling ho jati hai .kitna log asa milanga jo ias mains likh chuka onga lakin ras pre main raha jta hai . kya wo kum jajrook hota hai? so all readers jinka 180 ja raha ho tyari jari rakhna kisi afwah main nahin padna exam 24 dec sa he hoga.

well, if RPSC is satisfied that paper has not been leaked then result can be declared in Nov but if that's not the case then God knows.

@ Vishal : yeah tentative date is still 24th Dec unless and until RPSC declare, for Indian Administration : Go through Awasthio and Awasthi, RKS Aurora's book beside that also consult Indian Constitution, Yojna and Kurukshetra if possible

I have a option to buy online Madhusoodan Tripathi's and surendra Kataria's book [HINDI MEDIUM].Since, presently staying in W.B. on my job and Books on these topics are not availiable in Hindi Medium.Presently i have a course material on Lok Prashashan but in this some of topics are not covered. Some of the guys in this forum have mentioned that pre can again be taken in JANUARY... due to leakage of paper.Is this have any probability?

hi naeresh jee i am not able to understand the process of the scaling in ras .i have seen that a man getting 125 in history paper 1 is given 87 only after scaling but in the same exam the another one marks war 105 in the same paper scaled to 135 how can it be possible two yardsticts for the two men in the same paper ?plse clarify
