Miraj Dangal

Miraj : A place in Sangali District of Maharshtra where trouble had started on Anant Chaturdashi day-- September 3-- when some people tried to raise an arch on the Ganesh idol immersion procession route, depicting murder of Mughal warrior Afzulkhan by king Shivaji as recorded in the Maratha history and what follows was the sorry picture of volatile relations between two communities. Even police seems to be helpless as seen in one of the video shown below.
