Assistant Commandants (Group A) in Central Police Forces

"The Union Public Service Commission will hold an examination on October 11, 2009 for recruitment of Assistant Commandants (Group A) in Central Police Forces viz. Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB). The examination will be held at various centers across the country."

For details regarding the eligibility conditions, syllabus and scheme of the examination, centers of examination, guidelines for filling up application form etc. aspirants must consult the detailed notice of the examination published in the Employment News/Rozgar Samachar dated May 9, 2009. Details are also available on UPSC website i.e.http://www.upsc.gov.in.

Candidates must apply in the Common Application Form devised by the Commission for its examinations, which can be purchased from the designated Head Post Offices/Post Offices throughout the country.

The last date for all applications to reach the UPSC is June 8, 2009. However, in respect of candidates residing abroad or in certain remote areas specified in the Notice, the last date for receipt of application by post/speed post only (not by hand or by courier) is June 15, 2009.
