Hi Naresh,i secured 54th rank in RAS2007, Im OBC male. Is there any chance to get RPS.Wether OBC NGE with 22nd rank and 25th rank will claim Gen.RPS seats or OBC RPS seats

3. Dr Naresh Jhajharia · April 14, 2010 at 12:07 PM

@ Krishana : Congrats for getting 54th Rank. Well I would suggest you to approach DoP as I heard that the allottment is almost over for RAS 2007. What I feel in your case is that 22nd and 25th rank holder's service depend on some facors like whether they have claimed age relaxation or other benefits if yes they will be using OBC seats only otherwise they will take Gen seats.

Thanks Naresh for your wishes.OBC,NGE male at 22nd and 25th ranks did not take any reservation benefits as Im in contact with them. But according to the horizontal reservation policy these OBC,NGE will claim their own category irrespective of their top merits(22, 25).Perhaps last time the same was happened. Please clear it. Thanks

this is absurd, there is no need to make RAS process so fast as to make ot 100 metre race, pre is in september!!!!! we should write letters, protest, meet people, what we want is time frame not madness or else first timers would be washed out
